JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree and 3 plus years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering or associate's degree with 5 plus years of professional experience
EXPERIENCE:
Experience with network implementation, monitoring, diagnostics, and security best practices
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Proficiency with Juniper network devices and JUNOS configuration. Required to have a high-level understanding of networking concepts and protocols and their application in a network environment:
- TCP/IP
- BGP
- OSPF
- VLANs
- SD-WAN
- VPNs
- Network Address Translation
- Ring Topologies
- Routers
- VOIP
- Multicast
- Server Operating Systems
MAJOR JOB TASKS:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network systems including routers, switches, and firewalls for layer 2 and layer 3 LAN and WAN environments
- Configure and support Juniper-based networking solutions across multiple sites
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues
- Maintains all network devices with firmware and software updates for security patches and features
- Complete any IT/Security training as assigned
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems to maintain optimal uptime and connectivity
- Collaborate with other IT staff on infrastructure projects and upgrades
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on network architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation and perform after-hours maintenance or emergency support as needed

- External Vendors, Software/Hardware support providers, Training providers, subsidiaries and other contacts affiliated with Ozarks
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid driver's license without violation, which would prohibit insurability.
- Ability to work independently on-site, including equipment installation and cable management
- Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies and perform scheduled maintenance outside of normal business hours
- Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, or higher)
- Familiarity with utility or critical infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting SCADA or other operational technology (OT) networks is a plus
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment plus some work in outdoor environments requiring safety procedures. Work requires extensive work using a computer. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to the needs of the systems and users being supported.

- Occasional lifting, up to 50 pounds, required. Normal vision and hearing required.
